Text
It was Tuesday yesterday. When I came home from school my Mum asked me to go shopping with her. So we went to the shops and bought a lot of tasty things for my brother's birthday party on Friday. I know that all his friends like ice-cream, fruit salad, hamburgers, cookies and sweets. We went to the diary and bought some ice-cream, butter and milk for cookies there. In the grocery shop we bought some sweets, sugar and eggs. I know that Mum is going to make a big cake for the party.
Then we came to the butcher's and bought some meat and a chicken. I helped to carry bags home. And my Mum went to the supermarket for some fruit and vegetables. She brought carrots, canned peas, cabbage, some potatoes and oranges. Now we've got all we need for my brother's birthday party.
